Saving and Reusing Prompt Snippets
Store your most-used editor prompts as reusable snippets so you can apply them with a single click instead of typing them every time.
If you find yourself typing the same prompts over and over in the editor — like "Germanize all text" or "blur the background" — Prompt Snippets save you time by letting you store and reuse them instantly.
What are Prompt Snippets?
Prompt Snippets are saved text templates that you can insert into the editor's prompt field with a single click. You can save up to 10 snippets per account.
Great snippets to save:
- "Please use all text in German, all headlines, text on the image, and all UI elements"
- "Move the person to the right side of the image"
- "Please add a background that looks like a room in a bright color"
- "Reduce the background saturation, contrast, make it lighter and slightly blur it"
- "Add bold white text with a black outline saying..."
Using Prompt Snippets
Finding the Snippets Button
In the Thumbnail Editor, look for the bookmark icon (🔖) next to the "Apply Edit" button. This is the Prompt Snippets selector.

Inserting a Snippet
- Click the bookmark icon to open the snippets popover
- Click on any saved snippet to insert its text into the prompt field
- Modify the inserted text if needed, then click Apply Edit
The snippet text replaces whatever is currently in the prompt field.
Creating a New Snippet
Method 1 — From scratch:
- Click the bookmark icon to open the popover
- Click New snippet
- Enter a short name (e.g., "Germanize") and the full prompt text
- Click Save
Method 2 — Save current prompt:
- Type your prompt in the editor text field
- Click the bookmark icon
- Click Save current prompt — the text is pre-filled
- Add a name and click Save
Editing and Deleting Snippets
Hover over any snippet in the list to reveal the pencil (edit) and trash (delete) icons. Click either to modify or remove the snippet.
