Definition
Impressions count how many times your video thumbnail was displayed to viewers on YouTube. This includes appearances in search results, home feed, suggested videos, and other surfaces. An impression is counted when at least 50% of the thumbnail is visible for at least one second. High impressions mean YouTube is showing your content, but you need good CTR to convert those into views.
